OutreacH and science communication

Wildlife conservation is ultimately a human endeavor. Lasting conservation outcomes depend on informed communities, effective communication, and access to reliable scientific information. Carnassial is committed to sharing wildlife science in ways that are accessible, engaging, and useful to professionals, students, landowners, and the broader public.
Dr. Lombardi’s experience working with agencies, landowners, universities, non-governmental organizations, and the public through different speaking mediums both in North America and internationally informs our approach to translating research into practical knowledge and action. Carnassial’s outreach activities include presentations, teaching, field demonstrations, practitioner training, media engagement, and public-facing educational initiatives.
